Getting started
Setting up Bella
Visit app.withbella.io/register and sign up with your email. You'll be guided through connecting your first account (Gmail, M365, or Proton) and setting up your preferences. The entire process takes under 2 minutes.
Go to Settings > Connected Accounts in the Bella app. Click 'Add Account' and choose your provider (Microsoft 365, Gmail, or Proton Mail). For M365 and Gmail, you'll authenticate via OAuth2. For Proton, Bella uses a secure bridge connection. Each account syncs independently with its own encrypted credentials.
On desktop (macOS/Windows), voice activation uses the 'Hey Bella' wake word with on-device detection — no audio is sent to the cloud until you speak a command. On Alexa, say 'Alexa, open Bella.' On mobile, use the microphone button in the app. All platforms process your request with full context from your calendar, email, and contacts.
Sign up at app.withbella.io and you'll find the desktop companion download in your account settings. The macOS app lives in your menu bar; the Windows app lives in your system tray. Both support voice activation and keyboard shortcuts.

Using Bella's intelligence
Bella has 67 actions that take real steps. It can search your contacts, check your calendar, draft emails, create events, prep meetings, track relationships, order groceries, look up passwords, and more. Lookups happen instantly. Actions that affect the outside world (sending an email, placing an order) always ask for your approval first.
Every morning, Bella prepares a digest of your day. It includes: meetings with context on who'll be there and what to discuss, priority emails that need attention, follow-up reminders, relationship signals (who you haven't spoken to recently), personal appointments, and any scheduling conflicts. It's ready before your first coffee — you don't need to ask for it.
Bella tracks how your relationships are going across all your communication channels. It looks at how often you're in touch, response times, meeting frequency, and more. Then it tells you which relationships are growing, which are cooling, and who you should reconnect with — along with the context to make that conversation natural.
Bella can transcribe your meetings in real-time. After the meeting, it automatically extracts action items, writes a summary, and drafts follow-up emails. Walk out of a meeting and the hard part is already done.
A secure password manager built right into Bella. Store passwords, 2FA codes, secure notes, and sensitive documents. Import from any other password manager. The best part: ask Bella 'What's my Netflix login?' by voice and it finds it — without exposing the actual password in conversation.
Security & Privacy
Your data, your control
Everything is encrypted with bank-grade security. Your data is completely isolated from every other user — nobody can see your information but you. Passwords and credentials get an extra layer of encryption on top. We take security extremely seriously because we use Bella for our own sensitive data too.
No. The 'Hey Bella' wake word listens on your device only — no audio is ever sent anywhere until the wake word is detected and you speak a command. On Alexa, Bella only receives audio after you say 'Alexa, open Bella.' Your privacy is protected by design.
Yes. One click in Settings deletes your account and everything associated with it — passwords, conversation history, calendar data, vault items, relationship data, all of it. Permanent and immediate. Your data, your control.
